MUNICIPAL LIBRARY

ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM AND TRADITIONAL COSTUME

The "Almer Meynet" municipal library is the upholder of Antey cultural heritage. In addition to the book consultation and loan service, it provides 4 pc and internet stations and organizes exhibitions and cultural events.

The "Once upon a time the veillà in the stable" ethnographic museum is located in the same building. The latter shows the lifestyle of yore, when the heat of the animals was used to warm the environment in which people lived. In the part dedicated to cooking, a mother and her child carry out the house activities; in the one dedicated to the stable, the father and his son take care of the animals; a corner is dedicated to the display of agricultural tools.

Inside the library it is possible to see the "traditional Antey costume" too, made by Mrs. Carla Angster, which is worn during the main institutional events in the village.
