AND LOCAL PRODUCTS

Alongside the excellence with the DOP and DOC brands, Valle d'Aosta has among its productions more than thirty Traditional Agri-food Products (PAT) recognized by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies. The PAT, high quality niche gastronomy products, enhance the territory, the rural culture and the work of farmers, respecting the tradition and history of the region.

Also in Antey-Saint-André some of these PATs are produced: meats, sausages, boudin, mocetta, cheeses (cow - goat - sheep), brossa, reblec, séras, salignoun, butter, Antey renette apples, black bread and honey . All these products and many others can be purchased, as well as at the shop of typical Aosta Valley products, directly from the producers:

- Au Jardin Fleuri Agricultural Company (hamlet of Le Bourg)
- La Ferme d'Antey (hamlet of Lillaz)
- The apiary of Antey (fraz. Ruvère)
- Le Barme di Follin Joel (chaillien hamlet)

On the occasion of the Mele Vallée Festa d'Autunno event, in 2016, a competition was held among pastry chefs from which the typical dessert of Antey-Saint-André was born: Valduz di Pomme. The latter, obviously based on apples, is produced by the Antico Forno Flamini in Valtournenche.
